DPF Cleaning

BG 12Q VIA®, PN 9300, is a one-of-a-kind diesel intake and emissions system cleaning machine that allows technicians to not only command Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration, but to control it for a thorough cleaning.

To reduce harmful exhaust emissions, diesel engines are equipped with DPFs to collect soot and other combustion byproducts. When the DPF becomes too clogged, the onboard computer triggers regeneration, causing the exhaust gas to heat up to burn away the particulate matter.

Used as a part of the BG DPF & Emissions System Restoration Service, the BG 12Q VIA®, manually triggers DPF regeneration. Once proper vacuum and required temperatures are reached, BG DPF & Emissions System Restoration, PN 2581, is installed.

244 Injector Cleaner

DPF Injector Cleaning

BG 244® is a powerhouse diesel fuel system cleaner. BG 244® is like BG 44K® for diesels.

Diesel engines are extremely sensitive to the deposits that form throughout the fuel system. Even small deposits can cause substantial reductions in engine performance. Engines with deposits experience reduced fuel efficiency, engine clatter, diminished performance, and other drivability issues.

BG 244® will effectively remove diesel fuel system deposits from combustion chambers, injectors, and the entire fuel system.

Engine Performance Restoration

DPF & Emission System

Have you noticed a loss of power, more black exhaust smoke and poor fuel economy in your diesel vehicle? Or has your diesel had more frequent and lengthy regeneration cycles? This could be due to a soot overloaded diesel particulate filter.

Diesel exhaust flows through a diesel particulate filter (DPF), where soot and larger particles are captured, allowing only filtered exhaust gases to pass through. When the DPF soot level reaches a certain point, the engine’s computer triggers regeneration (self-cleaning). During regeneration, exhaust temperatures must become hot enough to burn built-up soot off the DPF.

However, in some driving conditions, such as excessive idle or frequent low-speed driving, the DPF won’t trigger the regeneration. Without the self-cleaning function, the DPF will quickly become too clogged with particles to function efficiently.

The BG DPF & Emissions System Restoration Service cleans up the exhaust system by using equipment to trigger and control the regeneration process. BG Diesel Performance Oil Change Service completes this service to diminish the tendency for the DPF to overload with excess soot, enabling it to self-clean more effectively in the future.
